Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

you shouldnt need to bend them because they should fit from borla and if you do need to bend them it shouldnt be more than a sixteenth of an inch not half

with a company that has been in business as long as borla and is proactive at being the leader in performance exhaust you would think that they could control quality better

at least this time the warranty turn around time is about two weeks and i might have it this weekend but now i have to pay shipping where borla paided it before

today i got my new ones and they are worse than the ones i sent back

the holes are off by 5/8" and they didnt take the time to mill them flat so even if i bend them to fit they are going to leak

i dont care if they have a warranty or not because now i have to pay for shipping both ways now and if i ship them back again total shipping cost will be almost $50

when i said center distance on the inside hole i should have said center distance of the inside holes meaning it needs to be spread that far

Maybe your whole exhaust system is off by a little bit?

So you mean it doesnt slide right on... The holes on each side are correct relative to position to one another, but the piping just doesnt seem to be far enough apart?

Have you tried to force them on yet? IE, yank the "far" side enough to get it to go over to the right spot. (Im saying this, because like I said, I have never seen a set of borla headers just slide right on perfect, you have to apply a little force to get the long side on)

thats what im going to do now because i am not going to get one that fits without making it

i talked to dale at boxer4racing and he said that the first pair he got fit on with no bending or problems and thats what made him sell them but he has gotten many that didnt and had to make fit and has told borla many times that they dont fit right and have problems so i think i might file a claim with the Better Business Buro if i do i might try to get a list of people that needed to make them fit so that borla will listen that they need to improve quality because yes i understand it that is the cheapest header you can buy for a NA suby but it still costs $300 for it

Dont forget that under heat, the headers will expand.

i honestly dont think that they will expand by much more 1/8" at most but it is stil bolted to the heads that will not let it move
