borla headers
i plan on keeping my car NA when using this header but i was just wondering if i should get it coated, wrapped or just leave it be

well i just installed them last night and the fitment is poor very very poor considering it was $300
had to modify the middle hole on the passeger side to fit over the studs and after i did that they didnt seal so i need two layers, that might seal it and the connection to the cat pipe was off by more than half an inch.
if they dont crack in a week i will be surprised considering how far i had to bend them

That's weird. When I put mine on they fit as good as the stock one. After having them a year they are holding up good and I even broke the bracket that holds my midpipe going over something. I drove it around like that for a couple of weeks and the cat/midpipe was LOW, so the header was holding it for the most part and I haven't had any problems. What year is your subi? I have a 99' Forester.
