Best Performance Parts for the 2.5RS

Hello Everyone!!! I am new to this forum and also new to Subaru. After owning 2 VW Corrado's I made the jump over to Subaru and have a couple questions......So here we go.

I recently bought a 2001 Impreza 2.5RS and Im looking to do some basic upgrades to the car.....Specificaly an exhuast, intake and a chip. I would like to know from whoever can help me what the best brands are out there for these types of products.

I would use hks for the exhuast and intake. I would spend the money on the vishnu-performance system. for computer upgrade and ignition upgrade. If not use the j&s safegaurd unit. this will stop the engine from knocking. good unit. used it in conjunction with N2O.

Ignore that last post, those mods are for WRX's.

Go check out the Normally Asperated Forum for more information on mods for an RS. And BTW, chips are not very useful for N/A Impreza's.
