Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Best exaust pipe size?

For normally aspirated, 2.25" will give you the best overall power. (It might maybe possibly have like 2 less peak hp, but 2.5" will lose power in midrange.) If you go turbo, might as well get 3" pipe, or whatever matches your exducer bore.

I have a simalar question. I currently have a COBB intake and plan to get COBB headers and camshafts. Would you recommend i go with COBB exaust as well or go bigger since its only 2.25in....I think.
Also is the diffrence sound/power or what?

If you go straight Cobb down the line, you will haev a VERY well sorted out car. Everything they sell is designed to work together, and it works well. Unless you want to do custom exhaust, go ahead and get Cobb's, which is basically a single tip Stromung. And yes, I'd go with 2.25" now, 3" if you ever get a turbo.

Thnx....and ya i really do like the idea of having all COBB stuff, since they were deigned to work together. As for the turbo...not gonna happen. I don't have the serious money and don't wanna mess with the matnince with a turbo. Plus i'd have to ditch the headers. In your opinon will i have many problems mechanical wise with all that done. espically the cams? Ofcourse theres always the unpredictable but just in general....
