Switch to cone air filter
I put a carbon fiber hood with the hood scoop onto my 2003 impreza rs and i wanted to install a cone air filter so that it can breath freely from the fresh air coming in through the scoop, does anyone know how to do this?

A WRX hood will do the trick too, but you'd still want to avoid an open element filter in the engine bay. It's still too hot even with the scoop open. If you can get your hands on a Gravelsport intake, those are fine since they seal off the scoop and pull in all the air. But, I don't know if they would work with a GD body.
