Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

No. Any system not designed for the stock locations whether they are for turbo or N/A are simply not designed for the OEM locations.

The MRT system is not stock locations, neither is brullen, and I think there is another system coming out that is not designed for stock locations.

In my opinion, the stock angles suck, and you want a full system designed for better flow if you want real power improvement.

I thought it was where each headpipe bolts to the head. Is it where pipes join, finally becoming one pipe?

I hate to sound stupid, but there's really no better way to learn
Collector is a term for where the header tubes come together and terminate at a "collector"

Im not really sure about where each headpipe bolts to the head. I've always called it an exhaust flange, im not sure if there is another word for it.

It's not stupid to ask. It might be to people who have heard the same questions a thousand times. But they too were "stupid" at on point in time. Think of it this way, you just got smarter buy learning what "collector" is.
