Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

thats one drawback to obd1 they arent anywhere close to as sensitive as obd2, i got a CEL for a cracked hose on my iac, "fuel trim" code.....disconnect your battery and step on your brakes, let it sit for 10 mins, that might clear whatever short term memory it has. my car ocassionally stalls. only when coming down from highway speeds, but its because of my intake ide say

you can try some carb cleaner but if it didnt work the maf might need to be replaced
look on ebay there are maf sensors on there for $50 used which is cheap because if you go to the stealership its $350

i dont get it. there should be a check engine light for sumthin like this, but it isn't coming on.

the rotating thing is basisly a screw that is pushed out or drawn back by 2 coils of wire on either side of it (magnatism) ecu send volt to the wires to control idle screw and tip opening to closing the idle port. i was worried abou damaging the coils f wire inside with carb cleaner, but if urs still worked with no codes after the cleaning thats cool.

thnx matt
