hey guys, im part of Norcalevo.net as a MOD.. we are planning a meet for next month, but this meet will be something different from other meets that we have done.. the last meet we had was at Lemans Karting last saturday which was hosted by TPR magazine and we had over 100 evos that showed up not including the vendors that showed up with their shop cars.. so the next meet will be a charity game to raise money for the family of drunk driving victims... we would like to have a softball game against the subaru guys because we (subaru and evo owners) are known to be rivals when it comes to the tuner world but coming together and raising money for MADD will also clean the image of import drivers that they dont care about anything except themselves...

we plan to have the meet at a local baseball field at the end of may, also we will be informing local radio stations to raise money and have people come out to support the cause...

so please think this over and your going to be doing this not just for yourself but for a lost love one..

 

This is a good idea. Im interested in some old man softball for a good cause.. Any more details like a date or where it would be held?

Depends on when, but I'd love to participate in a softball game as long as I get to bat DH since I suck at fielding (unless I get a glove and it's not infield, haha), but regardless, I'll try to show up for such a good cause.

 

One of my old roomies just got an MR a few months back & I mentioned this event. He checked his forum & this got cancelled b/c there was no interest here. Wassup wid dat, y'all? No support for such a great cause. What a shame!
