What are major problems with STI?
5th gear grinding is a problem on some STi's. Drag racers who try to shift extremely fast from 4th to 5th gear (Which you have to do in the 1/4 mile in an STi) have reported these grinding issues. Some have had it fixed under warrenty.

"The Vishnu Stg2 STi" I love it when I hear an 11 sec. STi!

I love my 05 STi! The only the comment I would say are the seats not as supportive or as comfortable as I thought it would. It could be a little better!

Some of my (minor) gripes:
I really wish the STi had a rear wiper.
The carpet is extremely thin - make sure to get floormats.
The wing really is too big.
Squeaky brakes.
But these really are just minor gripes. I love this car. The 6 speed is butter and the torque form the 2.5 is amazing (especially after a few mods
).

Too soon to know right now. Based on the fact the exterior is only 2 years old and the interior was new for 05, I wouldn't expect much. But you never know...

Nah... nothing yet, the only noticeable changes are the exterior appearance. I wish they headed on another direction for their trend.
