Universal SSQV C-clip install Q

How can I snap the c-clip into the flange? I bought a knockoff ssqv but it didn't came with instructions.

Umm....You buy retaining ring pliers. they look like needle nose but with to angled pins that fit into the holes of the clip. (I think they may be called snap ring pliers.)
