nothing major will really happen, as it stands right now your going to lose some top end power between shifs, which is only going to be noticible when your going ***** to the wall racing. besides that you'll experience the occasional back fire from it running rich momentarily and it dumping fuel into the exhaust... once you get it tuned properly all that will be fixed.

i bought the bov like 3 days after i bought my car, before i even started learing anything about the car at all i just wanted to be a ricer at first but now i just want some basic performance parts and nothing extravigant.

ive just been misinformed for many years haning out with the ricer crowd, i mean before this car i had a buick reagl, so up till like 3 weeks ago i had learned nothing about these kinda cars

im just happy you guys can set me straight and teach me.

BOVs are really for estetics. they serve a functional purpose but unless tuned for it wont perform as well as a recirc for our cars. if our cars came stock with a bov instead then there wouldnt be an issue because the car is preprogramed then to expect the loss in air.

If you want basic performance a good down pipe and 3inch exhaust with engine management is a great start. if you want you can add in an intake but its really not going to make to much of a difference though it will yeild some of the bov sound then if you go back to a recirc. the ssqv does come with a recirc attachment as well but im not sure if the hose diameter is larger with that kit then stock.

Exclamation hahah

hahah BOV + my new exhaust and intake = Rough Running....

i had the car just idle to 0 and enging shut off 2 times now from going in reverce then pushing in the cluch.. once i push in the cluch the engine just goes to 0 rpm. sometimes it will drop to almost 0 then jump back up and idle normal.. ohh well every one was right about the BOV.. i dont care im gonna keep it on till i get my ap and a tune to see if it will make any difference. its not like its as bad as everyone was talking about though. only happens in reverce.
