ok im going to be doing a turbo-back exhaust kit somewhere down the road on my 05 STi. My concern is a friend of mine who works at a garage was tellin me that putting an aftermarket downpipe on an STi can create problems with the wastegate. I'm relatively new to the world of turbo so please excuse me if i seem like a total idiot to some of your knowledgeable people out there. He said that the STi is known for "turbo creep" so if i do stick with the whole exhaust(turbo-back) that i should consider either getting the wastegate on the turbo bored out, or some kind of electronic boost controller to keep the boost stable. He saif if i left the turbo AND wastegate stock it might affect the boost in a harmful way...any suggestions/advice?

I have headers, uppipe, ported turbo, downpipe, high flow cat and tapperd 3-2.5" exhaust on my 05. I have no boost creep issues. Also, a boost controler will not help or hinder boost creep.
