Need to work on that reaction time. Should be well below 1. Try to improve on your 60ft. Do you use the i/c sprayer while running down the track? Good job for a first timer. Stock with all season tires I got a 13.2@101 with 1.7xx 60ft.

The fastest 60' time I've seen out of a stock or close to stock STi is 1.64 sec. It's actually pretty easy to pull 1.7x sec 60's. Its a little harder to get down in the 1.6x's.
I've been running pretty consistant 1.66 sec 60' times launching at 5500 - 6000 rpms with a drop clutch and floor it technique. No slipping of the clutch at all.
Someone in a modded STi will probably pull a 1.5x, but its going to be pretty darn rare. I haven't heard of anyone doing it yet.

I did my first few runs this past weekend. My first attempt ever off the line I scored a 1.7 60ft time. However, the next few runs were 1.8-1.9 60ft times. The problem I'm having now is shifting technique. I keep slipping the shifting. My first run was a 14.1 then second run was 14.0 @ 94mph. Just need to improve the shifting and should get better times. I have a Greddy Evo catback and Blitz LM intake as my performance mods with Tein lowering springs. In a couple of months I will add an Emanagement system to get more boost out of the engine. Great times above.

Slip the clutch from the line. DCCD-Auto. Could do 50/50 launch, swivel to 35/65, but too much work for the same/worse time. Ran the car to redline. Hit the I/C sprayer as much as possible (usually between shifts). May be going back this saturday, gonna try using ICE on the intercooler, and getting the stock tires back on it.
