Feeler/FS: 17x8.5 5x100 +48 BNIB Rota Slip Streams Time Attack
As the title says, I am debating on selling a brand new set of Rota Slip Streams that I have sitting around. So, I want to see if there is any interest in them. I bough these about a year ago, but never used them as I crashed by WRX shortly after buying these.
Wheel: Rota Slip Stream
Design: Time Attack (flat black with red lip/stripe)
Bold Patter: 5x100
Size: 17x8.5
Offset: +48
Weight: ~22 lbs/rim.
Only one of the boxes was ever opened and wheel taken out for test fitment purposes during fender rolling (see pics below). That's pretty much the only use they saw on my car; outside that these have just sat in my office untouched.
As far as I am aware, these are no longer available through Rota USA, so they or distributors like Wheel Dude do not stock them or cannot even put in an order unless there is a decent group buy/interest for a batch of these to be made back in Philippines. Please correct me if I have any of these facts wrong.
PRICE: $725 OBO I paid a premium for them + tax + shipping, so I am already taking a hit on these. These same rims are listed at $850 on Wheel Dude's website for 5x100 configuration (http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=5640) and $750 for 5x114.3 configuration (http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=5641); only difference is that you will get a call back saying they are not available if you try to order them
I can open the boxes and provide more detailed pictures of all 4 rims if there is serious interest. Thanks for looking.

Thanks d0de! And did you already sell it?!
Yups, that is correct as far as tire size; I bought them specifically to run a 255/40/17 tire for auto-x and track days.
As far as fitment, I had no fitment/clearance issues when I test mounted them on my '06 WRX, but I also had coilovers of the car. If you have stock springs, I am not certain if you would run into clearance problems in the back and during turns
Bump for some old school wheels
