Your stock ECU that has had the programming modified. Some examples would be: Cobb AP, EcuTek, Vishnu’s.

What year/model subaru? The 02-03 wrx's are ok with exhaust and no engine management.

The newer wrx's (2004+) need engine management. There are some on this board that have f'd up their motors running exhaust and no tune.

Aloha bruddah from the waikiki side of oahu here. TBE will be fine for a bit without EM as long as you don't rag on the car. The risk you run with TBE and no EM is boost creep. The lack of back pressure can cause your boost levels to creep upwards and they *could* spike, resulting in damage to the motor. Be easy on her until you get the flash and you'll be fine.
