STi power (any difference in hp and torque between '05 and '06?)

The dealer is probably refering to the STI S206, or at least I think that is what it is called. Only about 600 built. They are running around 330 hp, but are over 40k's to buy one.

there is more power in the 06. saw an 06 on the dyno and them right after it an 05. 06 put down about 245-250 range and the 05 put down 235-240 whp. subaru says they are the same but each car is different and i am sure the tuned the car differently for the 06.
also why would the make the 07 limited with 293 hp rather than keep it at 300. 9 times out of 10 you wouldnt feel the difference in the two cars.

that salesman is just trying to get you to buy a nice expensive new car from him. Stevens Creek Subaru supposedly told a guy the wrx was a twin turbo one time.
