safe psi

im planning on getting a boost controller, but before i get it...i wanted to know what is the highest/safest psi i could get with a stock turbo..for a 05 Sti

The safest thing you can do is not get a boost controller. There are several different parameters that go into tuning a vehicle for more power - boost is only one of them. If you adjust boost, but don't adjust fueling, timing, etc. you're just asking for trouble.

Save your money a bit longer and get a reflash of the stock ECU which will raise boost and adjust the other parameters, and make much more power than a boost controller alone (plus it will be safe).
