Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

You may be pushing the limits of the STi Injectors. To maintain that level of boost all the way to redline you may have to jump up to 650 or 800 cc injectors. But beyond that . . . if by "re-tune" you mean on a dyno with some diagnostic tools keeping track of your egt, air/fuel mixtures and knock sensor than yes I see no reason you can't run 20 lbs of boost. The 18g can support that boost level, but you may want to keep a close watch on your numbers closely. A buddy of mine had his Eclipse dynoed with an 18g and found only modest HP and Torque gains over 18 lbs of boost, but his egts increased significantly and his knock treshhold was much narrower. Most Turbo charged cars perform best near their knock threshold, but the risks do increase.

emanage is NOT real EM for your car....a TD06-18G is a no foolin turbo that will pop your motor in a half a heartbeat if you let it.
Get yourself some REAL EM and get it tuned right, and you shouldn't need 20psi for fun.
The STi injectors may be too small unless you do the FPR 'mod'(crush the top) to increase pressure and thus flow...but the tune is all important.
