protune Stage 1

Question protune Stage 1

06 wrx tr, running on stage 1 ca-maps. should protune stage 1 (is it worth it?) or i just wait for stage 2 to get it protune?

Any map can benefit from a protune...... BUt if power is you ultimate goal You should probably wait and only have to do it once rather than get re tuned once you add new mods.

I have an '06 WRX as well on the same map. I wouldn't bother pro-tuning Stage 1.

I would get a pro-tune after Stage 2. You should look into the Perrin crank pulley like I got. It's like reducing 100 pounds of weight from your car.

I second this... and it isnt underdriven, hence not F-ing with anything in the engine, def a worhtwhile mod... while youre at it, you might wanna replace your intercooler hoses... Perrin makes a great set

I hope I am not hijacking this thread, but I would probably get the Perrin IC hoses at the same time as radiator hoses and shroud.

I'm also waiting to see how well the SPT high-flow air intakes perform.
