Cobb ots stage 1 or protune?

Ugh. Can't make up my mind. Any thoughts or input? I'm not intending on going beyond stage 1.5 as I'm actually quite ok with the power levels- I'm more of handling kinda guy. I'm jus looking for better drivability and getting rid of the dangerous stock tune and hesitations.

Mod the car as much as you can then get a real tune.

What are your current mods and what is your plan?

If you have a pretty basic/common set up... i.e Catless exhaust... go with the OTB cobb tune. If you don't plan on doing ANYMORE MODS then consider a pro tune.

If you are going to be adding more then definitely use a stock cobb tune. Do the pro tune AFTER you're done adding parts.

Otherwise you'll need a new tune every time you add something and it'll cost you a fortune.

In terms of power, I do plan on purchasing a catback. Currently have a nameless axelback. Beyond that, not planning anything engine related.

I wouldn't bother with a custom tune. Just use one of cobb's.

The difference between my protune from Paul and the ots stg1 cobb is huuuge, feels faster than a stg2 ots map haha but he cranked the boost up pretty high on it.. when he told me he tuned it he said "oh yeah finally have your car some *****" haa

Yea...do a turbo back at the very least. It's a night and day difference with an aftermarket dp and tune compared to just a catback and ots tune. Which didn't make the slightest bit of difference.

I went OTS ACN91 stage 1 earlier this year and didn't notice a thing. I just flashed OTS ACN91 stage 2 the other night and so far I haven't noticed any changes either.

The Cobb OTS maps were never intended to be a permanent solution for your car.

So the recommended path is downpipe then protune to stage 1.5? Should I skip the Cobb accessport?
