perrin downpipe cel fix

i installed my perrin downpipe, andi have a cel right now. i heard rumors that i dont know if it is true, but they said the perrin cel doesnt work, meaning that there will still be a cel. is that true? thanks

perrin downpipe cel fix

I installed the Perrin with the O2 bung concurrent with APS's upipe and a Skunk2 catback. The APS has a 2 bungs but I'm only using the EGT.

The stock sensor installed and I have not thrown a CEL yet - that is for the O2. I have thrown CEL's for emission performance, but that is due to the uppipe and downpipe cats going away. Rather than use the fix, I periodically clear the CEL with my OBDII reader.

I suggest the Injen downpipe, It has a cell fix (bung) and a wonderful polish finsh. Im running it on my 04 STI with the blitz nur spec r and sus intake and never had a problem
