P2016 - 2005 Subaru Baja Turbo
Hello everyone, I need help. Long story short i have this P2016 code, Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor/Switch Circuit Low. I have read a lot about deleting the TGV valves, but i haven't found anything of a tutorial of how to fix it. I have swapped the sensors. P2016 is referring to the one the passenger side, right next to the turbo, i swapped it with the one from the other side to see if the problem was the sensor, but i still have the same code. it means the sensor is not problem. It is either the wiring some thing else. i have read a lot of how install the sensor and the TGV motors.
Does anybody have any tutorial of how to fix this issue, or what pin in the ECU to check for continuity to see if the wire of defective.
I am not planing to doing anything crazy with my Baja for now. I have contacted COBB and they say that they dont have an Accessport meant for my car. I have also contacted a couple of motorsport shops around my area to see if the could tune my car with maybe open source and they said no, they need the Cobb Accessport for that.
I need to smog my car ASAP.
Thanks a lot, I am counting on you guys.

So, i ended up buying the subscription from Alldata. it was pretty helpful. It shows you the connector from the ecu. I checked the resistance and it ended it being the sensor. I bough them from eBay. I replaced it and the car passed smog.
