I was as surprised as you, especially because Cobb advertises that their cat only soaks up 3-5 WHP.

I believe Mike was able to get 1.5 degrees of advance (base timing) from going to catless DP as well. That was all that was switched between runs. Sorry, I don't have the plots, that was 2 years ago.

Hey if your car is running ok with the stuff you have on then I would wait till you get the turbo for the tune.

I completely feel you. Its almost like tattoo work. I have 3 tunes left to get on my car.

I maxed out my injectors with my first tune on the stock turbo "dont ask" So I am doing my fuel system so that will be another tune.

Then I get my new turbo/front mount theres another tune.

Then I get tuned for e-85 theres another tune.

It is all well worth it in the end plus I like going to Mike because I will put my 267ft lbs TQ and 220 hp on a mustang dyno against a similar road tune any day.

Quoted for truth.

If I were you, I'd hold all the parts in a box until you get everything. It's probably the hardest thing to do, but it's the best thing to do. You're about to throw $400 away. If you have to question things on tuning, then you should mod all at once because if you had the money with no issue then you wouldn;t be asking.
