You'll love the gain's on a good tune, you'll see 300WHP on the low reading DD and Gruppe-s mustang that's a 30WHP increase in peak power, but at redline you'll be seeing 50+WHP.. Then you have the option to see what she'll pull on RaceFuel.

I have Vishnu's v370 for my 05 STi and I love it. I even get much improved gas mileage over stock.

I'm not looking to go too crazy with this car. I want to do the Vishnu Stage 1, which should be just fine. Basilcy, I just want to do intkae and exhaust, with some sort of plug and play ecu, not a stand alone. I talked to Vishnu the other day and they said that they prefer a plug and play over a stand alone. Maybe they were just tryin to sell me there product, idk. But the xede with the stage one kit is only like 300 more dollars. So could I do this same set up for cheaper by putting my own kit together? There kit for the downpipe, catback, xede, is 1840.

Depends on what you buy... all HKS stuff... sorry your in the hole. For Intake, TBE you should be looking at about 1000.00. I would go with a Cobb Accessport - great tunning and map capability, I think this runs about 650 (I could be wrong) or go with a reflash and tune (750 for the reflash and 300 to 400/hr on dyno) you should only need an hour or even 30 min on the dyno for such a low mod level. I would recomend dyno tuning vs a stock map. It allows to tune for "your" car and not just the average STI.
