Kind of urgent: Smog pace says I'm missing 1 o2 sensor ?

Hi guys!

I have a 2006 wrx. My only mods are Helix catted downpipe and an ebay catback.

I risked it to the smog because I read people passing it with the helix.
The smog tech I am missing an o2 sensor because there's supposed to be 2?

I am not expert. Honestly, I had an exhaust shop install the turboback.

From what I know, the helix dp has two bungs, one for o2 sensor, and 1 for another reason, like a exhaust temp port?

Am I correct?

The only sensor I can find is towards the rear of the dp, near the midpipe.

Some down pipes have a wideband bung up by the bellmouth used for tuning. Your car should have 1 o2 in the header or exhaust manifold On the passenger side (follow the blue wire covering by your boost controller down to the header), and one in the tail end of the downpipe for a total of 2 o2 sensors.

That's what I thought.
They failed me for visual simply because the bung on my helix dp was plugged. (the one close to turbo)

they should have failed you for that downpipe in the first place. Easy way is just put the stock dp on and everything should go smoothly and just reinstall it after smog is done. Should only take about and hour or 2 to swap the down pipes out.

+1 to what everyones saying, or you couldve pointed out that the first o2 sensor is in the headers and showed the tech, obviously he did not care about the helix dp that its aftermarket since it passed sniffer.
