Question IHI VF37 turbo TWIN SCROLL design specifications?

Anyone know or can help me find as much info on this turbo (IHI VF37) as possible.

I know it's TWIN SCROLL and I need a differrent up & down pipe. But I'm looking for #'s and specs.

I did a google search of "IHI VF37 turbo TWIN SCROLL design specifications" and couldn't find anything.

Thanks

There is not very much information on that turbo yet. I dont believe it has even been released. There was some speculation that the VF37 would be the turbo mated to the USDM 2.5L STi motor but as we know that is not the case.

It's out, it's the turbo off the Spec-C, I just can't find any #'s on it.

No, it's definitely a bit small for it. Great for an EJ20 or EJ22T though.

VF37 turbo w/ supporting mods help make someone's car run 12.0 @115 in the 1/4mi.

It's like a VF34, only it spools faster.

Timeslip? AFAIK the STi that comes with the VF37 doesn't run 12s.

It is stock... it's the STi v7 Spec C setup. I personally think this turbo is a bit small for the EJ25, plus the extra displacement does what the twin scroll design is supposed to compensate for not having.

I love how that exhaust housing is designed (2nd picture). Notice how the turbine and wastegate flow are completely seperated. Just add a HKS downpipe with a dump tube welded on and it'll sound like an external wastegate setup
