i got a 05 sti with a hks ssqv w/flange. anybody have hood clearence problems. i do.

Did i recieve the wrong model?

 

i have one on my 05 STi and it fits fine....actually it may ever sooooooooo slightly touch the padding under the hood but other than that it's perfect...it does sound cool but if you can live with the occasional back fire then go for it....i ran mine for a week and took it off...

 

I was fine with it touching the hood ever sooooooo slightly until i took it for a straight line run. the damn thing would bang the hood with every hard shift i took. I wasnt too crazy about the experience so i ended up taking it off today. no problems, now what to do with this bov. damn just two days on my car.
