I have an '05 STi and was wondering which exhaust is the quietest, is straight through and is 80 or more mm in diameter in piping.

Try an Apexi GT spec exhaust. ITs 80 something mm, one piece straight through and it should come with a silencer if you want it to be quiet. HOnestly though those things sound mean as hell without the silencer in so id keep it out if possible.

 

I have the Borla Hush and it's pretty quiet. The piping is almost 80mm. It's 3" which is just shy of 80mm. I love the sound and the stealthy twin pipe look it provides.

 

Is the borla straight thru?
