While the 30 hp claim is rubbish, even at the flywheel, I've heard from several of the very few sources I consider reliable that one of the Injen CAIs (not sure which) shows 8-10 WHEEL hp gains on a dyno. Don't ask me to explain it, and those of you who frequent these forums know I'm Public Enemy #1 when it comes to intakes, but I believe it from the people I've heard it from.

I have one on my Sti. I got it from my boys at ESX and added my Catback from my WRX. The car was with out a doubt faster. I think between the 2 pieces my car got 27- 30hp. Don't ask for my dyno sheet my dog ate it. No really I don't keep them once I see the results I'm good. I had to get a CAI I went to the Injen FMIC. Injen works for me.

Maybe you need to tune that one ? or may you need to reset the ecu ? Try the 2nd 1st since you got it might as well. Let us know.

Oh, that's comforting....

Seriously though, an intake on a stock STi is one of the top 5 most pointless mods out there.

That's not a huge jump in power from the STi stock crank HP of 300...

And looking fast under the hood? Could you please specify?

I hope everyone realizes that every car is not the same and there are a lot of variables involved- Some may get less some may get more HP...It all depends. We even have the dyno results to prove it. We use our very own 2wd/4wd DYNOJET Dyno- the same type that Nascar uses. Remember, that all dynos are not the same as well- Anyone with dyno experience can confirm this as well. All the STi's we tested have been stock with no mods whatsoever.

Do you really think we would go as far as to discredit our name by producing false claims? Not very likely and surely would be very distasteful on our part. We have always backed up our claims with actual results, even in independent tests- have concluded our systems to make power. So please keep that in mind.

The RS1201 is a truly amazing cold air system hands down!
hey injen, here is a dyno graph should be look like:

it should show A/F ratio as well...

Well, I dont have afr on my dyno graphs. I did do a before/after on the dyno at FIS in McKinney TX. AFR went about a half a point lean across the board. I looked at it on the screen, but they didnt print it out for me. I made a thread on imprezawrxsti.com about it.
