did i hit fuel cut?

so i was on the high way crusing with some buddies and i was in 5th gear and i mashed it i was hitting 1.31 bar then i finally noticed cause i remmeber i set my warning to 1.20 not 1.05 as i thought then i saw 1.31 bar and i was like **** and the car stopped going the throttle got cut i was still on the pedal then my CEL came on and the cruise light started to flash,,
please help :sadwave:

yes. stock is around 17 psi or about 1.2 bar give or take. I dont know about the cruise light but the cel and flux in throttle are def. fuel cut-off.

you over boosted...........dont worry I think at this point most have just dont try to do it repeatedlly. Re-set your ECU and all is good again

samething just happend to me right now, i was driving with my girlfriend on the highway and i stepped on it, and when i hit 120. the car just stopped then the cruise light and cel light came on, i kept driving and when i got home the cruise light turned off. but not the cel

did i hit fuel cut too?

i had just taken it to 140 like 2 days ago and nothing happend. just today..

I think the same thing happend to me Friday night. I Was playing around on the freeway went to 120ish in 5th. Then I look down and see that I've thrown a cel light and my cruise light is blinking. I didn't reset my ecu cause I wanna see what code is stored.

BTW I have a reflash also

how do u pull the code? what do u need?

i was driving to around 120 then my car just stopped and the cruise light and cel came on

the cel stayed, wasnt blinking.

when i pulled over i noticed a green plug that was not connected under by the clutch so i connected it back and turned on the car the cruise light went away, but the cel was blinking?

i heard something about that means something about misfiring or something.

Catless!!!

I also have an 05 STI. So far I have an AEM Cold Air Intake and the DC Sports exhaust. I am considering the Turbo manifold and the turbo downpipe to complete the pipe set up. Obviously, this removes all the cats in the car. How do I prevent the problems that everyone is having, before they occur? This will be an amature track car in the summer season.
