I think the cobb stage 2 makes like 340 tq.
I'd defenitely look into a protune from a reputable tuner also.

the good thing about the AP is that you can grow with your mods. I suppose you could do stage 1 now, get the dp and flash the stage 2 map, and then get dyno'd. However, depending on you location, I'd suggest getting ProTuned too. Thats when they make a custom map for your car, it'll run a little better than those OFS maps. Also, be sure to use the CA specific maps....our gas sucks
If youre in Northern CA I'd suggest getting tuned by Ed at eq-tuning...if you wanna go that route.

Protune is a custom tune...MUCH better than the standard maps on the AP. If I were you, I would flash to stage 1, and save for a downpipe. Once you get the downpipe, flash to stage 2.
Then take it to a tuner and have them custom tune it on the dyno. When its protuned, the basemap is tweaked to your individual car...cuz no two cars are the same.
There are quite a few tuners that can do it in CA, and if its far, it would still be worth driving 5+ hours for a safer, more powerfull map designed for YOUR car.

Are we sure the 06 WRX has a catless uppipe? My friend that owns an 06 TR says that he is pretty sure it's catted, and that the STi's are catless.....
