clicking noise when i engage the clutch

so i recently replaced my clutch on my 08 WRX. Went with a ACT flywheel and Exedy STG 1 clutch. love the set up

but i have an issue that i brought up to the mechanic who replaced my clutch.

when i engage my clutch i have this clicking noise, feels like a loose bracket or something. There is a lot of movement on the master brace cylinder when the clutch is engaged. Mechanic told me i might need to go to a machine shop to get a new bracket and have it welded again. not sure though

Has anyone had this issue

any help is much appreciated.

Take it into Subaru asap! I had a cracked fire wall at the mounting bracket for the clutch and this is becoming a well known problem. SOA repaired the problem for free and gave me a rental while the subie was in the shop
