I agree, Stock is always the best unless you put down serious numbers.

yeah get rid of that bov and throw the stock bypass valve back on...i recently moved up to stage 2 a few months ago...as soon as I went stage 2 that fluttering problem occured constantly, so I ended up takin it off the bov next day and threw the bypass valve back on and glad I did...just take our word for it and put the stock valve back on...stage 2 will feel a whole lot better =)

adjust the spring tension in ur BOV tighten it if it's fluttering (make it stiffer)

but yeah.. the stock will work u just need to have it welded on the pipe of your front mount unless your front mount pipes have the same flange as stock.

If u just want the sound then, get an intake and take out the silencer
it's better than the BOV

your car would sound like a plane taking off if you have a big enough intake and a big turbo.

I was having the same problems, I had a Turbo XS RFL. It was kinda cool the first day being that it was my first Subie and turbo. It was making the car run like sh*&. I tried adjusting it but it did not change any. I read up on everyone's opinions about the BOV before hand but I got a good deal on it and wanted to try it out. I thought the car ran like crap cause I didn't have my AP yet. It got kind of annoying and I'm sure I got a couple WTF looks because I was a stock WRX. I just took it off and never looked back.
