I hope I don't get boost creep either. I havn't yet, and I haave had my 06 STI for about 6 months. I have about 9k miles on it as well. I just ordered HKS carbon ti and the speedmethod dp, should be here fri or begining of next wk, I will install and let you guys know if I see any boost creep.

here is my input , at 3k miles I installed a short AEM intake and boost guage , I noticed a solid 15 psi to 7000 rpm no fuel cut , 2 weeks later I installed a catless divorced downpipe I got boost creep at 6000 rpm in 4th,5th and 6th ( 16 psi). two weekes later I installed a FMIC with BOV dumping to the atmosphere , custom catless 3" TBE and Utec ( untuned , set to stock) now I get boost creep to 20 psi from 2nd gear on , it's even worst with the stage 2 utec map , I usually let off the gas when the warning (set at 15 psi) comes on , on the boost guage. Hopefully I can get tuned in the up comming week.

boost creep suggestions

i have a 04 sti i had the same problem with mine also i would be in 4th racing and it would shut down and the dash would light up like a christmas tree when i bought it. it has a greddy boost controller and short ram intake system with exhaust stock headers. i've come to learn by adjusting that boost controller i haven't had the problem yet and i'm racing street bikes and svt cobra mustangs and with the settings i have now i don't over boost or get boost creep and beat bikes and svts with no problem with stock turbo at 20.5 pounds of boost i have a upgrade on stand by in case it happens again or i blow the turbo up.but i would recommend a boost controller it will help out alot

This is not boost creep, but rather "over boost fuel cut."
