Boost Creep Question

I want to install the Tanabe Super Racing Medallion Catback (70mm piping) on my otherwise stock STi.

I live in the S.F. East Bay area in Cali, and I'd like to be able to do this without modding my stock wastegate.

Am I safe in doing this?

Thanks,

David

Q) Are there any other options to prevent boost creep besides porting the wastegate?
A) Yes, Installation of an exhaust that either keeps the stock OEM muffler or one of the stock cats should not cause boost creep.

even with a port n polish you still can hit boost creep. I did the port and polish and still hit boost creep. So its not guaranteed that porting the wastegate will prevent boost creep. So far the biggest improvement i had was installing a ebc.
