best downpipe

Wats the best brand downpipe in the market today? also what are good first mods for 05 sti? i have down all my suspsention from coils to roll cage..now working on my performance...suggestions?

I would say pde or helix unless you go full tbe...maybe the RS/R tbe...rs/r are good but their downpipe only fits the rs/r catback...

Thumbs up PDE downpipe...

before purchasing an APS tbe...I ran the PDE downpipe with great success...due to the design, it rarely threw a CEL...every catback that I installed on it fit great, can't say the same for other downpipes...the only downfall if any is that it tapers from the conservative bellmouth design to a 2.5" opening...this allows you to use your stock midpipe ( you can use your stock donut) as well as add a 3" catback system if you like...

Even though I used it slightly longer than a year, it was like new when I sold it...just the typical bluish haze created on stainless steel after it is exposed to heat...

If you get a PDE, you WILL NOT be dissapointed.

My friend & I have '05 STis with the same mods.
He has a Stormung TBE & I have Perrin cat back w/ gutted stock downpipe.
Guess what?
Both cars are within 3hp of each other.
