Bad Idle, What's Going On?
My 04 STI Idles really rough. Specially daytime weather is hot, feels like the engine about to stall out. Sometime just falls way down to the point of almost stalling and finally catches itself and returns to a little under 500 rpm, but I feels the engine is rough badly. At night, weather kind of cold so it won't happen that much even it's on good idle. What's the problem with it?
This happened after I installed the Blitz Bov. I tried to put the bov filter and tighten the bov little bit, but daytime my idle is still bad. The only thing I think is the Blitz bov kit.
Below is all my setup, Any other info or help would be greatly appreciated.
Bryant
Greddy FMIC
Blitz Bov
AEM Short Ram Intake
Stock Boost Gauge
Blitz Boost controller (14.5PSI)
HKS Downpipe
HKS Carbon-Ti Exhaust System
Tein Flex Coilover

Car Info: 2004 Subaru STI/WRX Silver of course
Believe it or not it is the BOV I installed a Blitz BOV on my STI car did the same exact thing except mine would actually stall throttle felt real touchy...Removed the Blitz put the stock one back on problem went away...Not sure what part of the BOV caused it I thought maybe a vacum leak from the mounting flange but regardless the problem went away with stock BOV. Some people have no problems but some do...
