yes and yes, but I'd recommend going stage 2 =)

 

thanks dude...thats all i need to kno. im planning on going stage 2 wen i get everything setup...after i go stage 2 do i still need to tune? or does the ap tunes for me?

 

they AP and turbo back exhaust is all you need. NO dont need a tune at all. since you have an 2006 it should put you at 280hp and 340 tq. Shift smoothly so you dont nuke the tranny.

And yes stage 1 is safe with nothing else on your car. Im running that set up until i get my TBE.

 

once you go to stage 2, you will need a stage 2 map.

yups all i have is TBE AP v.2 stage 2 map 91 ACN, car runs like a champ im luvin it...also i don't spendin $ on gas cuz i be always gettin up on it. i luv the power it puts out...that's untill i decide to upgrad to FP red turbo haha!

 

It'll give you a base tune for those mods but if you want more power a custom map would be better or you can upgrade your turbo w/ supporting mods and then get a custom map save you some money.

 

If you're tight on cash and a little computer savy.. try going the opensource route. That's what i did and saved a TON of money. Btw, STAGE 2 made a WORLD of difference. My car has so much pull its crazy. My evo buddies dig the low-end torque
