the tein s springs will give you the greatest jump in HP

 

MIKE from Gruppe-s did not recommend me to get a protune because of my minimal mods!! he said there barely any power gain after tune on 06 wrx?!?

why would he say this after i see others GOT PROTUNE FOR THIS TYPES OF MODS and got about 15-20hp gain and torque. pls help.

edit: I think u'll hit high 12's or low 13's. What do i know, i dont have wrx.

 

mid to high 13's is my guestamate. lol.... more towards high 13's

 

isn't stock 06 wrx run high 13's??

 

it's all driver. a good driver could possibly hit low-mids13's with those mods.

I dunno, maybe he COULD extract a bit more out of it... but Cobbs map is pretty well done from the get go... esp in stage II trim... call back and ask him... Ask him EXACTLY what you asked us... tell him youve hearrd about people getting 20-30 more, is it because youre black? Ask him

Well yeah... ALL about the driver and some things that its probably not about...

like... intercooler heatsoak, high elevation, ambient temperature, tire pressures, weight etc

If youre track is pretty close to sea level, make sure youre able to cool down between runs... Ideally, your fuel tank should be about 1/3 or less... Keep your tire pressures a COUPLE PSI below... maybe just in the rear... take out that useless spare.... Hasnt anyone heard of walking home????

Anyway, best of luck, but yeah with a 1.8 60ft, youre looking at about a 13.7-14.1

 

What track are you taking it to in CA??? and do you have a Gtech?

yes! i have the same set up as llburna. cobb stage 2 with stock catback, my best time was 14 flat, almost broke into 13's.. my 60 ft was 1.8 and i was trappin 97. good luck man! filipno power! hahahha
