Sorry for that, but did you remaped car? This is a "must" if you change exhaust components. Motors blew'n on several test cars in Italy just for this reason, because they want some sound (without remap).

yea i changed the oil every 2,500 miles. oil was only 4 days old

sounds like you dropped the clutch the wrong way at the track and blew out the mounts, and as far as the exhaust with no mapping, very bad. Did you ever throw a Check Engine light for overboosting? If you kept going WOT and overboosting you could have damaged the internals due to the fuel cut going on so many times.

tell me about it dealer will not warranty so just waiting for pay check to buy engine lift to start pulling the motor so i can bring it to gruppe-s

I was not throwing a check engine light but. i had enstalled mechanical cel fix from gruppe-s
was planning to get a remap
did not know i was overboosting!

Check with GSTMotorsports, talk to Mike and he'll help you out.

it might not have brought the CEL up, but I know a turbo back will lower the compression in the exhaust which will mess up the wastegate cycle and cause the turbo to spool up way to high for what the computer wants it to. Go with that Subyn00by said and check with Mike at GST. If he cant fix it, but a new car.

yea, mike did e-mail me back was wondering if i was going to reuse the existing block and would save me $1,200 dollars or get oem brand new block for $2,800. but i pretty much put i was being offered from gruppe-s but dont know if he is trying to figure out if he can match gruppe-s on built short block and extra parts as for turbo upgrade and cobb ap2.0??
