05sti 600 miles =WHAT TO DO?
I Bought A Brand New 05 Sti.. I Have 600 Miles On It And Was Wondering What Would Be Some Good Parts To Put On It. Im On Ly Gonna Get To Purchase The Items One At A Time Do To Im Working And Trying To Save Some Money But Its Kinda Hard Having Those High Insurance Payments.. But Anyways I Was Thinking About Gettin The =aps Dr Series 3.5 Tbe. , And I Was Gonna Prob Get A = Turbo Xs Utec,, But The Only Prob With That One Is That Im Gonna Have To Drive To Atlanta To Get It Tuned, So I Was Wondering If Their Were Any Simpler Solutiions Considering Im Ecu Ignorant... I Was Also Wondering If Instead Of Porting The Wastegate To Elimanate Boost Creep If I Could Purchase A Really Good And Smart Boost Controler To Solve The Problem Of Having To Get The Wastegate Ported... Right Now I Have Already Cut The Silencer Off And Have A Turbo Xs Blow Off Valve..

1) Learn how to type normally
2) Learn how to be the best driver you can be ON A STOCK CAR
3) After the car crosses 36,000 miles, then mod it.
Modding a brand-new STI is like adding gasoline to a fire that is already burning. You are going to ruin the resale value, endanger your insurance and (from your level of knowledge, this seems likely) perhaps blow up your car.
A stock STI right from the showroom floor is more car than 85-90% of what is either already on the road or for sale right now, and the other 10% will cost you $30,000 to run with. Just appreciate it for what it is.

i've sold subaru for 1.5 years, and i own 2. from what i gather from here and your other threads... save your money(especially if you are slightly concerned about the high insurance). . . become a master of the car- i.e. learn its limits(in a safe race venue)
then come back and tell us if you are still in need of modifications. if you must i say do suspension 1st. and i don't just mean coilovers. i also mean rear sway(and front) strut bars(front and rear). and get rid of that BOV unless you really need to hear the sound.

I agree that if you have a TBE, AccessPort, and BOV. you then are going to be a very unhappy STi owner.....................................you really should do more research before buying two things that dont go together, if you want the BOV you might want to look into other forums of EM.
Read what poeple say about AP and BOV's?
for what reasons do you plan to use the car? this would better help you to chose future mods. I myself have been pulling away from the power mods and moving towards more Track Time /w instruction.
to have the best tools still requires us to know how to use them
if you are just some street racer that wants a "bad ***" car then by all means blow it up as fast as you can and try not to hurt anyone in the process

i have read what peps have said and i dont see how there car wont run right with a blow off valve,... my car seems to be doing good and nothing compares to what the chicks think when it purges that air off between shifts..my car doesnt idle funny or anything.... and also i just installed my accessport today and anyone that is not impressed with the cobb s tuning accessport would b crazy.. i love it .. im just on stage 1 93 octane and my car is boosting anywhere from 15.8 in 2 and 3rd gear to 16. something in the rest of the gears... it has way more power threw the mid range and i think its one badd ace mod... u should quit wasting ur money on suspension bc when im through beefing up my motor u lll only wish u spent that money on something for extra horses.. but seriously i think u should think about purchasing one and finding out 4 ur self... its one awesome feeling when ur sti throws u back in the seat harder than it ever has b4..
