wut wit da boost fluttering?

im not sure if this is suppose to be happening, but when i boost the sound i hear isnt a smooth sucking like a vacuum cleaner. it has a SLIGHT fluttering noise.

my run down:
removied intake silencer
sard BOV
perrin downpipe
samco Y intercooler hose

i havent been messing with any of my vacuum lines or anything. i dont have a boost gauge yet to tell if my boost pressure is actually jumping around.

First off, what year is your car? is it an 05? I hope you have some EM, and ditch the BOV asap.

To fix the flutter, shorten the wastegate arm a turn or two and see if that helps. That solved my flutter issues.

http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3654
i have don't really know the UPs and DOWNs of this mod, other then car sounds better, and runs better, but if you tighten it too much you will get spikes. I THINK(not sure) but people that has gotten it to shut up abit has gotten the sound the come back over time due to the ecu "learning around it"
I also hear some people saying its a normal sound and people that ***** should just buy a non turbo car because they're stupid....(however thats a stupid comment... but whatever)

It's risky running catless on an 04/05 without EM. I would take some datalogs to make sure everything is cool before you break something. Subaru implemented a open loop/closed loop fuel delay for emissions reasons in 04. You need EM if you start modifying your exhaust. The BOV will only make matters worse.

Look it up, I can't post links right now.
