i have a 04wrx, will the sti TMIC cause more lag on a cobb stg 1 w/ oem TMIC...OR in general on any stock wrx with a sti I/C?

A lot of people state it isnt necessary on a td04 but everytime i open my hood and touch the I/C, it is always steamin hot, of course mainly on the PASS. Side. and you can definity feel the lag and the horrible throttle response on a "warmer" day

Im about to install the I/C mist sprayer to help out with the heat soak

I'm runniong cobb stage 2 and didn't notice an increase in lag, it does seem to run better though. On an 80 degree day you'd think it was only like 65 or so. The sprayer should help with the heat soak, especially in traffic.
