would some one please help me out

hows it, anyone think they could throw a guess of what is wrong here . I have noticed a slight consumption of oil and it has been
maybe about three times i have had to add at least a 1/2 quart of oil to my engine. i read on a post that one cause of oil consumption could be caused to improper seat of the piston rings
due to failure of breaking in the engine properly . And if anyone was wondering i did not break in my engine properly , my excuse
is no one told me about any kind of breakin procedure i didn't see
anything in the manual when i finally found out i read about it here know im really scared that there could be some thing really wrong with my car . is there any test or somthing i could do to see if this is something going on in my engine.

thank you
