Will a new BOV mess up my tune?

I got my ar tuned with the stock BOV, butt he other day I was using the 100 octane map, and I noticed it sounded like the BPV was leaking a little bit when I went WOT. If I get an adjustable BOV (probably worx dual stage) will it mess up the tuning of the base map too? I'd be running it in recirc mode while on the 91 map and atmospheric for the 100 octane map during races. Would I be able to fix any problems with the tuning with the external spring adjustment? TIA guys

FYI, you can't hear a BPV leak...it leaks back into the inlet...

the way you know a BPV is leaking is when you raise boost during tuning & your MAF voltage does not go up...

well when I went WOT the BPV sounded funky, not like it normally does. I was thinking of doing atmospheric while on 100 octane because I use ot for rally-x, and I figured the way the car handles with an atmospheric BOV (slows down a lot more when letting off the gas) would help me slow down for the tight turns

a BOV or BPV has nothing to do with the slowing down of a vehicle....

have you driven a car with an atmospheric? its amuch more sudden slowing down when it lets off. it doesnt seem to have any long term slowing down effect, just when you suddenly let off the throttle

atleast thats my experience

yes, I had a TurboXS RFL for a couple months until the noise got too much for me....I reverted back to stock, then upgraded to an APS DualVent BPV when the crushed stocker was still blowing-by during tuning.
