2002 wrx stock. 36k miles.

Yesturday i checked the oil and it read fine. Today i went out started up my car. Noticed it was ildling pretty high(1600-1700, normally 1500 when cold) and it had a lot of exhaust coming out. so i turned off the car imediatly and checked the oil. It read on the low mark with a tiny bit of whiteness in the oil. Confused as hell and in disbelief i checked the oil like 5 more times. The oil read on the low mark the first 3 times then read normal. Stilll confused i jacked up the car to check if anything was wrong. Noticed a little bit of oil on the outside of the oil filter, but everything else was fine. No dents or anything on the oil pan. The car has never leaked oil. I changed the oil about 600 miles ago and it wasn't leaking till today, what is that white crap in the oil and why would it be reading low then normal....

Please help me out.

 

ran the car for a second checked the oil now its reading low agian.

 

Check your coolan see if u can see any oil in there. u might have a slight problem with ur engine. drain the oil and see if u find any more white crap in there u might have a coolan leak to the oil passages.

 

the coolant doesn't have oil in it im about to drain the oil. I checked it agian today it read fine(haven't been driving the car), then i ran it(for a few seconds) and then it read normal.
