what's wrong with my boost controler??

ok...i just installed a Blitz dual-sbc spec-R boost controler into my car...but when i try to turn up the boost, the max boost i do push is about 8-9psi...can anyone help me...i installed it just the way the instruction book said to install it...but what's wrong with it?...

Looks like you have connected the vaccum lines incorrectly. You are running your spring pressure.

You might actually want to have someone check on the restrictor in the vacuum line. I had a similar situation where I was unable to top 10psi. Gino from GB checked the restrictor and it had gotten banged, and was out of shape. A simple tweak with a pair of needlenose pliers, and voila, plenty of boost on tap.

Actually, I believe he was using the large hose supplied in the EBC kit--it is perfect for the solenoid, but way to big for the turbo and wastgate nipple. I bet he's leaking pressure from these spots. 808, either get a hose reducer (you can use the ones off of the stock hoses) or just use a smaller hose all the way around.
