what would cause this?

so i was looking at my stock td04 now that it is out of the car and i saw this....

any ideas on what may cause this? if you cannot see it, there is oil.

well it depends if you want to go faster

if you happy with the speed rebuild it

if not buy a bigger better turbo

i have a vf43 on the suby now, protuned and supporting mods (thanks Ed) just wondering if it would be worth money to someone to buy from me and invest the money to rebuild it...??

i am running a vf43 now.... just wondering if it is rebuildable, to possibly sell it for someone to port/polish it n turn it into a big16g. i dont want to rip someone off either.
