What type of spark plugs should I use?

What type of spark plugs should I use?
I'm getting ready to replace my spark plugs for the first time. What do you recommend? Should I stick with the oem $18 NGK or is there something else cheaper or better?

Car Info: 02' WRX
Ngk Iridiums.Platinium is poo-poo.Copper is good for spark but it doesn't last very long.You could also check some of the stickies or do a search because this question has been asked a billion times.
