What to look for when buying a used exhaust???
basically any used exhaus is fine, but heres some things to look out for:
1) if its jdm, then it will need a jdm downpipe to bolt up. most exhaust for sale arent jdm though.
2) id stay away from exhaust with dents unless it is a really good deal
3) depending on if you prioritize looks, get closeup pics to see the condition of the muffler portion of the catback. is it shiny, scratchless, etc.
4) dont waste any money on an aftermarket catback that's not 3 inches.

well....
the exhaust is off an STi ...would there be any differance with a 80mm STi tip form the recommended 70mm tip for a reg. WRX(wagon), that's only gonna be used w/ u/d pipes no AP or anything .....a helix catted dp and their up. I heard the ULTRA isn't THAT loud but never heard one in person.
I purchased a STi TBE for my wagon to maintain the stock look, and then gutted the DP for additional performance. Even with the gutted DP, there isn’t any noticeable petal performance. On the other hand it sounds cooler.
Depending on what you plan to do with your car, I would suggest purchasing a TBE from the same company.
Anyone know if a cat back exhaust includes the mid pipe?
